So I found out yesterday that a cute couple in our ward, the husband is a nephew of Del Parson. They're newlyweds (August) and next summer he'll start school at BYU studying art. His dad is also an accomplished artist, but I don't know his name. What sad is that I had no clue who Del Parson is. So, I googled it this morning and duh! I have like 5 of his pictures in my home and I love his work and the church uses it the most. For those like me who don't know, His most famous is the portrait of Christ in the red robe. You should check out his website and read his story. It's very touching! (grab tissues).
